Brigitte, Germany’s largest-circulating women’s magazine, recently featured Roya Mahboob in their early July issue. The magazine, which publishes every two weeks, is read by about 3.6 million people in Germany and beyond. In each issue, they feature groundbreaking women who are accomplishing important things.
Roya is featured in the “STUNDE DER FRAUEN”, or “Hour of Women”, section in the magazine. They explain, “Never before have there been so many women who are changing their vision of the world. This time, [we feature] an Afghan IT technician, a young woman who enables open access to the Internet.” The article explains how Roya has brought the Internet to women in Afghanistan, enabling them to connect with people from around the globe.
