Will this be the official price when it hits the PH?
The price of the Samsung Galaxy A5 has been teased by a local retailer a few weeks ago but that pricing is unconfirmed. But now we may have a good idea how much the company’s upcoming A5 smartphone may cost once it lands in the PH, courtesy of Samsung China.

The dual-SIM version of the A5 has now been listed in the company’s official site in China, with a list price of CNY 2,599. That price comes out to just around Php 19K in our currency, which is a bit higher than its main competitors in the mid-range market.
The A5 is a big departure from Samsung’s previous all-plastic design, going with a more premium unibody metal chassis. The A5 is equipped with 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display as well as a 1.2GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. Samsung PH is expected to sell the Galaxy A5 early next year.
