This tab can take a lickin and keep on kicking
Aside from the Note family, Samsung has also announced their latest tablet during IFA: the Galaxy Tab Active. This particular tablet is aimed at the B2B market, though we’re sure we wouldn’t mind possesing a tab that can get thrown around without suffering ill effects.

Samsung says that the Galaxy Tab Active can withstand a 1.2 meter drop with the protective cover on, and is water and dust resistant, possesing an IP67 certification. Even though it’s supposed to be a tough cookie, it still maintains a rather slim 9.75 thickness – not the thinnest tablet out there, but keep in mind it’s supposed to be a rugged tablet.
