LAHORE - Special Representative for ‘Shah Abdullah Relief Programme for Pakistani People’, Syed Nauman, has distributed as many as 1000 bags among the students of Ameer Begum Girls Elementary schools, situated in different villages.
In this regard, special functions were arranged in these schools.
Addressing the functions, Trust Chairperson Robina Shaheen Watto said that Ameer Begum Welfare Trust was struggling for providing education among the girl students belonging to lower stratum of the society from past 11 years.
She said that the main objective of the trust was to provide free and quality educational facilities to the girls living far flung areas of the province and villages.
Watto also thanked the Saudi government for gifting the schoolbags, which will benefit more than 1000 girl students.
The special representative and other participants also appreciated the contribution and struggle of the trust in the field of education.
