Scientific Studies Proving Efficacy of Spirulina On Herpes Simplex

I was amazed with the information I learned about an algae. There are a lot of studies on this book I'm currently reading. Let me share what I learned. Information were excerpt from the book.

What is Spirulina?

Spirulina is a blue-green algae that thrive as a microscopic; single celled organism turning sunlight into life energy.

On Herpes Simplex Virus Types I and II. The author created a test on Hamster - treated with rhis water soluble extract had better recovery rates when infected with an otherwise lethal herpes virus. This virus attaches itself to the cell membrane. However, because of the extract, the viris cannot penetrate and eventually eliminated by the body.
