On March 7 at 5:30 PM, the second Bitcoin Kenya Meetup started at Pete's Cafe and Burrito Haven, located in the iHub complex in Nairobi. iHub is Nairobi’s Innovation Hub for the technology community is an open space for the technologists, investors, tech companies and hackers in the area. Bitcoin Kenya's 1st Meetup was a hit! The second meetup featured a presentation from Tomer Kantor, from IamSatoshi, sharing his experiences travelling the world visiting and documentaing Bitcoin, as an experiment/alternative to the global financial system.
The meeting was joined by 30 people. 8 of whom were foreginers who reside in Nairobi. The rest of participants were locals. All are developing and are interested in Bitcoin.
