the importance of maintaining or keeping the balance of environment systems. These are the naturally occurring cycles that produce the essential components of the environment.
The environment works in a dynamic system which needs the outcome of the environmental systems such as the hydrologic cycle, nitrogen, carbon, phosphorous, and sulfur cycles. Keeping the balance of these natural cycles will help us to minimize environmental degradation and other environmental problems.
For example, sulfur and phosphates are common in detergents and laundry soaps. Too much of these in water bodies will cause eutrophication. Sulfur oxides (SOx) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) are two of the most dangerous air pollutants released into the air.
