The hit podcast Serial is going to be transformed into a cable TV show.
Hosted by journalist Sarah Koenig, the programme followed the harrowing investigation into the real-life murder of high-school student Hae Min Lee in Baltimore County in 1999.
It has now been optioned by The Lego Movie creators Chris Miller and Phil Lord, working with Fox 21 TV Studios.
The series will not look at the Hae Min Lee case. Instead, it will chronicle the making of the podcast as it follows a new case
