I was recently given the opportunity to build a set as part of my crewing experience for level 6 at my university, it was great but hard work, real work with your hands that gives you the satisfaction that digital work does not.

the set I was building was a simple, or so I thought, 3 wall construction with papered walls, my job was to help make things to go onto the wall out of paper, but I was quite often helping others out with holding and moving wall sections, papering walls or simple shifting and carrying.

I did everything from moving heavy wood pieces to building paper chains. It was a lot of fun and I gained a lot from it, it was some of the funniest and most rewarding work that I have done on this module and I would advise anyone who gets the opportunity to give it a go.
