After a lot of work on my film Shine I have decided to take a break from the production of it and come back to it at a later date. From watching the draft edit I had created, I still wasn't completely happy with the story of the film and felt it needs some changes to make it the best it can possibly be. After working on it for so long, I feel like I have become blind to the film and need to take some time away from it and come back to it with a fresh pair of eyes and new creative ideas.

So what do I plan to do during my break?

I always want to be making films because it is what I love to do, so I will be working on another experimental film. I find making these types of films to be very therapeutic, plus they keep me in a creative mindset which will help me when I return to the production of Shine.

One of my previous travel/experimental films - Canada. 

In the meantime, I will be uploading some behind the scenes footage and maybe even some preview clips from Shine, so be sure you are subscribed so you don't miss out!

So the downside of this is that Shine will not be released soon, however, the plus side is that I will be uploading another film around the same time as I finish Shine.
