Shogran is one of the most beautiful Plateaus in the valley. It is situated at a distance of 34 km from Balakot. 

On the way from Balakot to Naran, there is a place called KEWAI. Take a side road on the right after passing through Kewai. From there it will take you around 30 minutes to reach Shogran. Shogran is 7 km from Kewai.

SHOGRAN is a very beautiful place. Its really worth to see it. There are a lot of hotels in Shogran. So you can stay here. People are helpful & friendly.

A wonderful Excursion from here is to visit SARI & PAYA & Makra Top. From Paya Plateau trekkers can hike to Makra Mountain.

Note: In local language of Kaghan Sari means small lake or pond. Similarly Paya means High grazing ground. They are not "Siri Payee" which means "Head & feet of cattle".
