SHOOT DAY!

Posted on at

What a day for FourFingers!

An early start meant fighting over the bathroom, scrambling with props, checking shot-lists, stapling storyboards, gathering kit, checking batteries and finding clean underwear...all before 7:30am. EXCITING!

Our day started promptly, we had our make-up girl Jamie working on our main girl Carla...she did a fab job achieving The Girl Next Door Look (plus that extra desirability)...

Just outside the window a storm of filmmaking troops, arms fully loaded with enormous kit boxes bombarded the cafe' and in no time we were set up for our 1st shot!

The cafe' began to fill with extras and regular customers who became tangled up in the filmmaking buzz and before we knew it we were directing and organising around 30 people, dressing them in colourful woolies and charming our way into their little cafe' lives! - There was such a good atmosphere, people were excited, we were excited and things were running smoothly!

(Spicy Meatballs made a super lunch......)

Time caught up on us however and like true British winter...we were losing light fast. We had to start speeding things up and effectively split into two teams.

1st team shot current scenes while a 2nd team got actors/extras ready and rehearsing for the next. It worked like a charm and the final 1hr of filming got a lot of people laughing!

All in all a very successful day made up of people who successfully fulfilled their roles, trusted each other and pulled together!

Can't wait to see the final film!!!!
