A woman was shot and killed while 2 others were wounded outside a Queens nightclub last week. According to Bouncer Chronicles, the incident occurred inside of Club Hive on Queens Blvd in the wee hours of the morning. Witnesses claim a man pushed over the railing of the VIP section and a wild brawl broke out inside the club. A gunman fired shots both inside and outside the club, according to panicked witnesses.
After the shooting, 20 year old Tamar Sermons was fatally struck in the neck and later died at East Elmhurst Hospital. Another female clubgoer was shot in the buttocks and leg and a 31 year old male was grazed by a bullet on his head. According to the New York Post, the party followed Powerhouse 2014, which is an annual hip hop event held at Barclays Center and is sponsored by the radio station Power 105.1.
