This is the moment that a skih student broke strict religious protocol to save a boys life.

Harman Singh, 22 did not think twice when he removed his turban to put underneath the head of a 5 year old boy who had been hit by a car on his way to school.

Mr Singh has now received lots of praise internationally for his actions.

He said : I saw a child down on the ground and a lady was holding him. His head was bleeding, so I unveiled by turban and put it under his head.

I was not thinking about the turban. I was thinking about the accident and I just thougt " He needs something on his head because he is bleeding ".That is my job, to help. And I think anyone else would have done the same, as me.
