In today's world communication plays an important role for development not even in the physical borders by using airplanes, trains but even using World Wide Web to expand your business. Although many years ago it was not the same, the only option was roads. By thinking about roads thousands years ago in Central and South Asia, the first thing which comes to mind is "Silk Road", which was a great East to West trade route in the region, started in the second century BC.
Silk Road
However in 21st Century we use roads for our daily life exchanges but, there are some roads which are different than others. You might heard about Silicon Valley in California, which is the place of many world's largest technology corporations as well as thousands of small startups. It is the place for the hight-tech businesses like Google, Yahoo, Intel and the rest.
Silicon Valley
Recently I read an article about Silicon Alley that shares similarities with Silicon Valley. It is a nickname for an area a concentration of Internet and new media companies in Manhattan, New York City.
By reading these articles, it reminds me that every old roads needs construction and extension. It is all about creativity and connectivity. How about to renew the old silk road and make it different than past? New road, new name and that is what I call "Silk Valley".
In this new road we are not going to transfer only products but even exchange Technology and Education. School kids are the first customers in this road, this is a gate to access amazing World Wide Web. But how this would be possible, covering millions of kids and providing Internet classroom is considerable.
Afghan Development Project is the key for the Silk Valley. The first step is to build 40 Internet Classrooms in Afghanistan by covering 160,000 school kids. however we can not forget our friends in the silk road where share the same history. Our silk Valley have started it's journey in Herat, west part of Afghanistan and is going to connect the entire Region together again, that includes: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. This is our Silk Valley starting point in Afghanistan.

Everything is ready to make a Technical and Educational revolution there.
