According to china it will take anther 42 years untill 2050 before it can be called a modernized medium level developed country. from 2000 to 2010 total GDP is to be doubled the target set bychina from 2010 to 2020 total GDP is to be  doubled again at which point china per capita gdp is expected to reach S3000. from 2020 to 2050 china would progress towards a prosperous country...
