Snow World Hyderabad

Posted on at

Ok I am a New Yorker who had a brutal winter last year and in Hyderabad where it does not snow. So why go to an Indoor snow world in India. One for the experience. Snow world is a family family place for the middle class. There is Snow World, Kalledo, Racing, Cricket Cage, Rain Forest and Living Dead. For 550 You can enjoy everything except Cricket and Racing which is a good deal. So today was a good day to go to Snow World because it was wicked hot especially for me who waited for 30min in the sun before deciding to take a 300 auto ride.

Got to Lumbini and realized it's like a Playland. Went in search of airtel recharge since I was down to less than INR 5 and to call my aunt back. A quick hi I'm returning your calls turned into you need to settle down speech then your cousin is so so so way. Mistakenly hung up and didn't try calling back before I spend all my airtime in one go. Went back to Lumbini to wait and thanks to miscommunication one person went to Snow World which was my fault since I forgot I told that person to meet me at Snow WOrld at 2. One person was running late and didn't reach till 2 after we agreed on 1. I was full after having dosa and sweets in My Home Jewel After a meeting. The person at snow world fair to them did wait an hour before leaving which ended up being the time we were getting to Snow World. Only one person wanted food. Tried to rush them cuz felt bad about person waiting but shrugs didn't work out.

Ok So Snow World is an indoor snow experience where the temperature I would guess is 32F and full of artificial snow like when you go to ski resorts in some areas of the USA. The experience wasn't very realistic because inside there was an igloo for photos, rock wall with harness, slides, balls and basket hoops. They give each person a jacket, golashes, socks, and mittens. It is a fun experience even though when the snow blower turned on we tried to duck away because it was like wet snow mist/flurries. After Snow World we went to Kalledo which is a mirror maze. Didn't take to long to get through. Final stop was Rain Forest which was tough on my eyes with all the red lights so couldn't see what was around me very well. Had to feel around for the steps and walk slowly.

Afterwards we enjoyed some dippin dots or as they call them mini melts and mixed all the flavors except for cotton candy. Bubble gum was a strong flavor. Then took an auto to Banjara Hills where I just missed the 222A. I saw one 113k/226L bus but didn't know what direction it was going and didn't want to just bail by running to the signal where the bus was stopped.
