Narrator: Wiser is the are who knows that doesn´t know. Who knows what is right also do the right thing.
Sofia:Who knows what doesn´t know is wiser than who doesn´t know, but imagine knowing a lot Knowing that one does not know, is a way to know
Narrator: We ended up seeing the natural philosophers, now we will see the largest of antiquity. Athens was the cultural center from about 450 b.C. of the Greek world and see all turned to stare at the man and his place in society.
Socrates was born in 470 b.C. and though he wrote nothing is who has had more influence on the thought.
Sofia: So how do you know who wise he is?
Narrator: Through his student Plato who wrote his dialogues with him.
Socrates:Talk to me in orde to meet you.
Narrator: Socrates was not looking to give knowledge, so he did not give class, he talked.
Socrates: True wisdom is to recognize one's ignorance
Narrator: There were men who could speak well, with rhetoric, but now the politicians were called sophists before. They bother with Socrates to make young people had new thoughts.
Sofia: Why did you want Young people think?
Narrator: Yes, and then against 500 judges was sentenced to death. But he fought back, but did not want to prevent his death. Plato wrote the famous book "Defense of Socrates"
Socrates: I do not know what impression you have caused in the words of my accusers, to listen, have managed to dazzle even to me, but I want to show them that they have nothing real.
Plato: Others said before you were guilty for getting into or you do not care and research by heaven and earth. You want to others be like you and weaken their strong arguments.
Socrates: But have you ever heard me discuss or talk about other matters?
Plato: The Oracle have asked if there is wiser man than you and said that there was,not were not.
Socrates: And then I reflected on, I know very well that I am not wise. I I know that I know nothing.
Narrator: So in many senses we can compare with Jesus. Your great way to talk others. None wrote anything, but were his disciples who writed.
Jesus: I am the way, the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father but by me. If you had known me, ye would have known also my Father; from now on you you know and have seen him. ...
Narrator: Both had a tragic death that did not flee and were considered the wisest of his time.
Jesus: You have said it yourself; however, I tell you, hereafter shall ye see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.
Sophia: But in something had to be different, no?
Narrator: Sure, his philosophy was different.
Socrates: The truth is within you, I can not teach you anything.
Jesus: Love eacho other as I have loved you.
Sophia: That's true, are very similar, but teach us different things and we do remember different as the two existing forever.
