The UPS drivers are not really supposed to do this but they do this it seems pretty much every time where they deliver a package. I’m talking about the good old fashioned drop and run tactic. That being they drop the package at the door, ring the door bell, and then by the time I get to the door, they’re already driving down the street.
It’s quite fortunate that I’m there most of the time when they arrive. Knowing how things are these days, if I was gone for most of the day, do you realize how easy it might be to walk up to the doorstep and snatch a package? It’s extremely easy and can be done just like that.
Anyone who delivers a package should not do a drop and run, especially putting a package on the front porch because there’s no guarantee that it will get to the person that it’s delivered to unless you put it in their hands.
Something Really Annoys Me About the UPS
