This is the review of Xperia M2 Aqua, smartphone made by Sony and powered by Android.
It is waterproof smartphone announced in August 2014.
It is 8.6 mm thick and weighs 149 grams. Out of the box it boots into Android v4.4.2 (KitKat).
It is a water proof smartphone ( IP65/IP68 certified, dust and water proof up to 1.5 meters and 30 minutes) which is great to capture underwater photos in good quality.
Xperia M2 Aqua has 4.8 inch IPS-LCD Capacitive Touchscreen Display with the resolution of 540 x 960 . The pixel density is 229 ppi.
On the back there is a 8 megapixels autofocus camera with LED flash which can record 1080p videos at 30fps and supports HDR. The front facing camera is VGA and can shoot 480p videos.
Xperia M2 Aqua is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad Core 1.2 GHz processor and 1gigabyte of ram. The Gpu is Adreno 305 The internal memory is 8 and there is a micro SD card slot which supports up to 64GB. It has, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Mobile Hotspot, and supports micro usb 2.0, On the go (OTG), 3g and 4g Lte connectivity. The Battery is Non-Removable 2300mAh.
