"Sounds Perfect, Huh? It's Not What It Seems"

Who Was It With?

When Did You Realize It was Love?

Took a while to see, but on the Fourth Of July

What Did It Feel Like?

It was scary. I guess it was cause I had just gotten out of a relationship and I didn't wanna open up to anyone, but it also felt real, like I should take the chance and not be scared.

What Happened Next?

Well, when I realised how I felt, he had a girlfriend, I was too late. When he liked me I shut him out. I told him how I felt on the fourth of July and found out his girlfriend was just over myspace (internet dating). We took the chance and started talking. We talked on the phone every day for hours, he told me he loved me first, it took us maybe a month to see it. We broke up after two months but were still flirting, like friends with benefits. We lost it to each other, we told each other secrets and we can talk about anything and everything with one another. I started going to his house a lot and we would always have sex and cuddle and talk. I met his mom and started hanging out with his family a lot. Then my mom started letting me spend the night over there, sounds perfect huh? It's not what it seems cause we argued a lot, almost every day, because he would flirt with other girls over texting, myspace and facebook. He never physically flirted with them, but seeing the messages hurt bad cause I never did that to him. I know we're both single but still we're pretty serious, and we might as well say we're official, you know? I will never know if one of those girls can take my place or if he will fall for them. He told me he stopped flirting with them but I saw messages on his facebook and twitter so I know he was lying, he also treated me like I didn't matter sometimes, he would call these other girls he didn't know "baby, babe, hun, cutie", but me? I only got one or two word texts and he never called me those things. But when I would let go he'd always text me and tell me to come over, knowing we'd end up talking again, or he'd try to flirt with me in texting, just these small ways to get me back so we always ended up talking again. My friends told me to let him go so many times, even my family, and I still haven't let go. I'm actually heartbroken cause he's treating me different now, he tells me he loves me and stuff but he doesn't show it and it hurts.

Lessons Learned

  • Just because I haven't learned my lesson doesn't mean it's to late for you guys out there who are going through the same thing as me or
  • almost like it, lesson learned is stand your ground, if you don't like the way you're treated, let go, it might hurt at first but I promise from what I've seen and what I've been told it gets easier,
  • If something's bothering you tell him how you feel,
  • And remember, don't ever get too depressed over a guy, it's not worth it
