Real Madrid 3 - 0 Espanyol.
Top of the table Real Madrid returned to winning ways with a comfortable victory over 10th place Espanyol, thanks to goals from James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and Nacho.
Barcelona 3 - 1 Atletico Madrid.
A top 3 clash as 2nd place Barcelona emerged victorious over 3rd place Atletico thanks to goals from Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
Almeria 0 - 2 Sevilla.
Second-half strikes from Iborra and Coke helped Sevilla secure all 3 points and climb to 4th place in La Liga.
Celta de Vigo 1 - 1 Valencia.
Rodrigo put Valencia 1-0 up towards the end of the first half but they were unable to hold onto the lead and Celta de Vigo equalised midway through the second-half thanks to a goal from Fabian Orellana.
Malaga 1 - 1 Villarreal.
The points were shared in Malaga as Nordin Amrabat scored a 60th minute equaliser for the home side after Jonathan dos Santos had put Villarreal 1-0 up towards the end of the first-half.
Eibar 2 - 1 Getafe.
The home-side made it back-toback wins in La Liga and climbed to 8th place in La Liga thanks to goals from Manu del Moral and Ander Capa.
Granada 1 - 1 Real Sociedad.
A Carlos Vela penalty put Sociedad into the lead midway through the first-half but they were unable to hold out for the victory and Granada snatched a late point when Fran Rico scored a 79th minute penalty equaliser.
Athletic Club Bilbao 1 - 2 Elche.
Its now 4 defeats in their last 5 games for Bilbao as goals from Victor Rodriguez and Faycal Fajr help Elche secure all 3 points and climb off the bottom of the table.
Levante 0 - 0 Deportivo La Coruna.
Neither side could break the deadlock as 18th place Levante and 16th place Deportivo share a goalless draw.
Rayo Vallecano 0 - 1 Cordoba.
Cordoba climbed out of the bottom 3 with their 2nd win on the bonce thanks to an own-goal towards the end of the first half.
