Spiderman into the spider-verse: one of the best-animated movies in 2018
Guys you undoubtedly know, I love watching animations. It is the only place where I can see my dream and fantasy come true. It also allows me to cling to the realm of possibilities. Miracles happen in animations, dreams come true and the bad guy always gets served!

It’s your friendly neighbourhood web-slinger animated movie SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER VERSE that was introduced to us at the end of the movie Venom. Spider-Man is the people’s famous and favourite hero. PETER PARKER the guy under the masks has repeatedly saved people from harm’s way; he is just your friendly neighbourhood hero. He will do anything to see his city is crime free.
We all knew the guy from this world-Peter Parker. A not so lucky guy who got beaten by a radioactive spider, this accidental incident changes his life for good. He became the best web-slinger the city can count on any given time. We knew nothing about a parallel dimension, about alternate realities and about different versions of our very own web-slinger- Spider-Man.

These animators, Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti and a great producer Rodney Rothman team up to create a once in a lifetime epic Spider-Man animated movie. Their effort resulted in one among the best (if not the best-animated movie ) animated movies of the year 2018, Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse. It is an animated movie with a rich storyline told not from the perspective of our dimension slinger hero, but from the eyes of a black boy called Mails Morales.
The movie short story
Miles Morales a young African American struggling to live up with the expectation of his parents admires Spider-Man. But his father a police officer Jefferson Davis sees his sons hero as a city menace.

Miles Morales was never able to confide in his father, thus after school goes to visit his uncle Aaron Davis. His uncle takes him to a disused subway to paint graffiti; there Miles Morales was beaten by a radioactive spider.
Miles later return to the station to search for the spider that beat him but unfortunately finds a particle accelerator built by Wilson Fisk and his genius scientist Olivia Octavius.
Wilson Fisk wishes to make his family whole again by accessing parallel Universe to find an alternative version of his wife and son who died in a car crash. Miles was still watching from a distance when Spider-man arrived to disable the particle accelerator using a USB drive. Green Goblin and Prowler Wilson Fisk’s lackeys engaged Spider-Man in battle. Spider-Man discovered Miles has the same abilities as he. Spider-Man was gravely injured by an explosion, he gave Miles the USB drive and warned him if the machine ever turns on, it may destroy the city and life as we know it.

Unfortunately for Miles, he could not save Spider-Man but watched as Wilson Fisk killed him. The young web-slinger damaged the USB drive giving to him by the dying Spider. He visited the dead Spider grave but soon discovered an alternate Spider-Man from a different dimension Peter B Parker. The alternative dimension Spider-Man was brought to this dimension by the particle accelerator and needs a way home to his dimension.
Peter B Parker needed a way home, therefore he promises to train Miles to master his new found abilities in exchange for helping him steal data to create a new USB drive.
While at kingpin’s research facility, Olivia Octavius told Peter B Parker that if he could not go back to his dimension, he will slowly deteriorate and die. It is a race against time for the duel with this new information.
Peter B Parker and Miles Morales where rescued by Gwen Stacy another dimension Spider-Woman. She led them to May Parker where Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham, Peni Parker and SP//dr where sheltered.

The spider people attempted teaching Miles Morales how to fully master his abilities, but Miles ran-off to look for his uncle Aaron. To his surprise, he found out that his uncles are Prowler, then he returned to May House. Unknowingly to Miles, he was tailed by Wilson Fisk, Prowler, Octavius, Scorpion and Tombstone.
Miles was captured by Prowler. Miles unmasks himself, and Prowler recognized his nephew, he could not kill Miles and Wilson Fisk shot Prowler from behind.
Full with grieve, Miles wanted to face Wilson Fisk without training, but Peter B Parker restrains him in his dorm and chooses to sacrifice himself so the Spider-people can each go back to their dimension. While been restrained, Miles learned how to control his power broke free from his restraint and headed to May Parker house.
He designed his own Spider-suit in May Parker's basement and joined the Spider-people to fight off Wilson Fisk and his lackeys. He was able to return all the Spider-people to their own dimension and destroyed the particle accelerator.
The Content of the Movie
Spider-Man is without a doubt one among Marvel best character that has stood the test of time and is perpetual. The Spider-Man story has remained entertaining from generations to generations and has found its way to the cinemas in the year 2002. The movie was directed by Sam Raimi , after its success, it was followed by Spider-Man 2 in 2004 with a not so successful Spider-Man 3 in 2007. This was in time past the best Spider-Man movie we have seen thus far, until the animated movie, Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse.
In 2014, Sony ruined Spider-Man
The undying story of Spider-Man was almost ruined by Sony back in 2014, but they are gradually trying to fix it. They have done an applaud job with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. I and fans around the world are happy with Sony achievements with the animated movie

The delights of ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ brings a newfound sense of joy and playfulness to the beloved character
Pater Parker is our classic Spider-Man, the first and best web-slinger. Although he’s classic, he still remains relevant and famous in the hearts of many. Sony studios made an interesting decision in bringing back Spider-Man in the animation world.
As one among Marvel best and lasting full-mouthed comic hero, the animated movie was one of the best in 2018. The movie put me on the edge several times while watching. I was thinking about what will happen to Miles Morales. It was fun to watch, it does bring back memories from time past when I was a child in the 90s’.
Its unique story rekindles my love for the hero and has surprisingly made the last days of the month of January 2019 full of joy for me. Although it is a story from a cartoon point of view, each Spider-people has its peculiar characteristics, moves and sense of morality. How often do we see such a perfect combination of inter-dimensional heroes come together to combat a common enemy?
The presentation of the storyline as it captures each character, each scene is enriched with the tension of infinite possibilities of what Miles Morales would do, the decisions he takes and what are the possible outcomes. These however made the movie a movie to watch over and over again.

It does matter that this is a comic character, but it does matter to see the synergy between the characters from parallels dimension taking from books come to life. It brings a notable change to the classic story of Spider-Man to a point of hoping we can see a big screen version of the movie in the same vein of Black Panther or Avengers.
I’m sure there is no dull moment watching this animated movie. The movie is full of action scenes and suspension. Coupled with its complex storyline, it keeps your attention glued to your screen. It’s a tale that every second count if you must draw the satisfaction of the movie. The animation has made justice to its name, I literally watched the movie with visually believing in a parallel dimension to see the possible alternative of our very own web-slinger.
Spider-Man: into the Spider-verse is all I had ever hoped for, wished for and I got served with the best animation of my favourite hero. It’s truly a dream come true.

The scales feels vast, yet the spirit is joyous. It’s as if everyone had set out to make the best Spider-man movie ever, which is exactly what they’ve done

The actors to have voiced the animated movies are vast in acting skills with each bringing their own unique voice to the movie. They are Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali,Brain Tyree Henry, Zoe Kravitz, Nicolas Cage. These guys, to each its own character is impeccable, making the animation what I love.
The Hero of the Movie
I’m sure you’d love to watch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse after reading my review, but then, an animation like this needs a hero in the story. This very animation had a couple of them.
It all begins with two brothers in Brooklyn, the Jefferson’s. Miles Morales father and his brother Aaron. They both had a life of crime, Miles father became a police officer and his brother still fancy the life of crime, and he became the Prowler.
Fortunately, it may seem that life of crime sometimes can bring forth something good once in a while. It was because Miles went to see his uncle that he got beaten by a radioactive Spider to become the first black man spider in history.
Unlike Peter Parker, Miles Morales Spider spectrum is vast, he can jump higher, fight his enemies with electrical discharge, run on walls, detect danger from a far distance than Peter Parker and an added merit he can turn invisibility.

Although Miles was the centre of heroism in this story, this does not mean that the others are of less importance. My favourite was the Pig-Like-Spider-Ham. Not only was he short and not intimidating, but it seems to look like a pushover until when in combat he shows exceptional skills more.
On like the custom of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, I do fancy the custom of Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) and Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage). The touch of black makes them look awesome! Gwen however touching story of losing her best friend when she became Spider-Woman in her on parallel dimension made me feel pain for her lost even though it is an animation.
The Technical Side of the Movie
Well… I’m sure technological advancement is the trending thing in the world right now. Knowing this, several drawings combine with the animation to make this movie among the best in 2018 is not so surprising. It is the embodiment of ingenuity
The effect was great, the picture quality was the best thus far, and the storyline is the greatest thing that had happen this movie. It seems they animators had an insight of the minds of youths and animation lovers like us to give us what we all are wishing for. And thus

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse might be the best Spider-Man film ever made
The visual effects and actions of this movie were narrated in such a way it makes the movie more of a comic movie than an animated movie. I’m sure when watching this animation, it would be clear to see all summation of the parts that made this particular movie outstanding in visual narrative.
There’s something odd about this animation, or it’s just my imagination. This is the choice of music. the soundtracks are all black music and Hip-Hop. This is however with reference to the skin colour of Miles Morales. It features old school rap icons like The Notorious B.I.G, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
Is the movie any good and why?
This animated movie is an entertaining accidental adventure of Miles Morales, everything a family movie should be like and stand for. It cut across all age group, in lessons to learn.
Unlike Peter Parker that had been living and coping with depression from losing Uncle Ben and his parents, Miles Morales had both and an uncle. Even though it is forbidding for him to see his uncle, he had to steal away to see his uncle who helps him with depression and give him good advice.

It’s an average family story with heroism in tour. The struggles children may have been facing and how they can cope with it. The things they through without their parents realizing it happened.
Animations like this stand out because, they have the element of surprise in them, they bring the family together. This animation is good because it is a movie that cut across all age group and speaks to all races and religion.
On a final note
There was no such versatile animation in time past; this is a game changer, a new perspective and eye-opener to the world of animation. It like you looking at your younger self, your older self and seeing a different choice you can make and the possible outcome of each choice.
It’s not just about fighting bad guys and winning, it sums up all we wished for in animation, these however made the movie the best thus far.
