If you are working in a private sector in the Philippines, I believe you know that having an SSS or Social Security System account is necessary to every employee and that employers as well are obliged to pay for their employees. There are a lot of companies out there who have for some certain reasons, kept the employees contributions placed into their pockets.
So for you to ensure that your SSS contributions are definitely remitted to your SSS accounts, you should create your own online account to be able to check the contributions of the company which you are working for. SSS will serve a great role to our lives once we retire so we better ensure that as early as now, we have clear understanding to our money.
To log in online, visit sss.gov.ph and click on the sign up option.
Enter the details required, SS Number, complete name, birthday, mother's maiden name, address, contact number, email address and preferred username.
For those who have an employer, enter the company’s SS number.
If you are self-employed or voluntary or non-working spouse or maybe an overseas contract worker, then you need to provide any SBR NO. Found on the RSS Receipt Form of SSS paid at least six months prior to the current data. You just need to enter the captcha code, accept terms and conditions and you are good to go. An email will be sent to you providing you with the password.
A confirmation email will be sent after an hour or so.
All your contributions and your loan info will show there. I am tracking mine as well even if I am now in another country.
