After the incredibly popular reception I gained from the short film 'Stand Up', we've decided to take things further and turn the whole idea into a 7 part web series.

 

 

The series will follow the main character, Duncan Willis, as he tries to get back into the stand up comedy game after ten years of being off the scene. Duncan's hit a low point in his life. His wife has left him and he's working a terrible part time job in a super market. It's at this point he realises he needs to make a change in and tries to get back onto the scene, despite the fact he's a depressed alcoholic. 

 

The whole first series will cover, in more detail, what happens in the short film. A whole range of new character will be introduced and we will learn a lot about Duncan's past and why he lost his fame.

 

We've launched a kickstarter campaign which is live at the moment and after five days we've amazingly almost reached out desired target amount.
