- Star Wars: Episode VII (2015) stars Andy Serkis, John Boyega, Mox Von Sydow; and Harison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, reprising their roles from the original trilogy.
- The film is written by Lawrence Kasdan (the writer of The Empire Strikes Back) and J.J Abrams, the co-creator of the TV series Lost, and the director of the new Star Trek movies, from a story by George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars.

- The film is being shot in Iceland, England, and Abu Dhabi.
- The film’s budget is $200 million.
