It is becoming more and more frustrating to see people being condemned and demonized for their opinions and personal beliefs because the "Political Correctness Nazis" feel if you disagree with anything they have deemed acceptable you are evil, intolerant, hateful, or the various other nasty labels they love to spew out against people.
Anyone who does not see Jenner as a brave for deciding to go through massive amounts of surgery and hormone treatments because he wanted to be a woman is a bigot, intolerant..blah blah blah!
Brave is a Firefighter who risks life and limb to save others; Brave is a police officer who risks his life just being a police officer today; Brave is a young child fighting a battle with cancer; Brave is our military men and women who give their all to keep America safe.
Jenner made a decision, it's Jenner's decision and life to do with what he wants. But sorry, he was born a man and no amount of surgery will change that fact.
My opinion! My right to hold that opinion!
I have nothing against Jenner, I hold no hate or disgust towards Jenner. I simply do not consider Jenner a hero for the change made, nor do I consider it brave.
I am not intolerant, I am not a bigot and I am most definitely NOT politically correct.
I will not apologize for my beliefs or feelings about Jenner or any of the other numerous ideological, political or moral topics those who claim to be tolerant and open minded, continually attack others for their audacity to disagree with!
The last straw for me today was reading how Patrick Stewart, (aka Captain Picard & Professor X), stood up for religious freedom, more specifically Christian religious freedoms.
Apparently in England there is a controversy concerning a baker who refused to write over the top of a cake with Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie, "Support Gay Marriage".
"It was not because it was a gay couple that they objected, it was not because they were celebrating some sort of marriage or an agreement between them,” said Stewart. “It was the actual words on the cake they objected to. Because they found the words offensive. I would support their rights to say no, this is personally offensive to my beliefs, I will not do it.”
Well apparently the 'tolerant ones' have been quick to attack him, Stewart by the way IS a pro-LGBT activist.
Isn't it funny how the tolerant ones call the bakers bigots?
Those who demand their rights to choose and do whatever they want sure seem to take issue with anyone else having those same rights.
In other words everyone has rights, just not anyone who refuses to embrace their ideology and belief system.
Unfortunately Stewart's publicist tweeted an apology from the actors Twitter account. Why should he even feel the need to apologize!
His opinion is his opinion! He already supports gay rights, he simply does not support others from being denied their freedom to disagree.
When people are too afraid to speak their minds because there are hateful, intolerant people that attack them, we are in serious trouble!
Attacking others and calling them names; accusing people of having some made up phobia is nothing but bullying! It's an attempt to use intimidation to silence anyone who does not go along.
People need to stand up for what they believe and for Pete's sake, stop apologizing for your beliefs, opinions and ideology!
