Female workers at New York City's Larry Flynt Hustler Club are the latest exotic dancers to file a class-action lawsuit seeking rightful wages and tips, according to Bouncer Chronicles. The suit was filed by dancer Lolanda Rodriguez of Staten Island. She claims the club illegally classifies its strippers as "independent contractors and not in-house employees to avoid paying minimum wage."
According to her claims the Hells Kitchen skin joint also illegally takes a cut of the strippers lap dance earnings. Justin Swartz, Rodriguez's lawyer, told the New York Post the club refuses to clean up their policies despite other jiggle joints in the city that have been forced to pay millions of dollars in settlements for similar violations.
