Strippers Sue!

Posted on at

According to Bouncer Chronicles 2 New York City strippers are suing their employers for taking 50% of their earnings from lap dances. Louisa Dennis, a former dancer at The Diamond Club in Times Square and Melissa Acevedo, who works at Headquarters Gentlemens Club on West 38th Street, filed a class action lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Dennis had to give $350 dollars, which was half of the $700 dollars she made one night to her bosses. Acevedo forked over $500 dollars of her $900 dollar rate, according to the lawsuit. The women are suing for unspecified damages on behalf of 80 strippers!
