The sun is the center of the Solar System, but when it crosses the horizon, it is called Sunrise. It denotes to the period of time before and after. When the sky is light but the sun is not yet visible it is called Twilight. The dawn is the beginning of morning twilight before sunrise. The period after is when the sun rises during which striking colors and atmospheric effects are still seen.

When a ray of white sunlight travels through the atmosphere to an observer, the colors are scattered out of the beam through air molecules and airborne particles, thus changing the final color and that is what is seen on earth. Blue and green are the shorter wavelength components, they scatter more strongly and favorably removed from the beam. When the path through the atmosphere is longer, the shorter wavelength components which is the blue and green are removed almost completely thus leaving the longer wavelength components such as orange and red hues and that is what humans seen during sunrise and sunset.

Sunrise is where the sky breaths in and open the heavens where the Almighty Father shower His blessings and keeping His promise of hope. Every sunrise is life. Just like a sunrise, everything in life is bound to happen, all we need to do is to watch and be thankful for everything.
