RAHIM YAR KHAN: At least ten people were killed in a multi-vehicle pileup on National Highway near Rahim Yar Khan city of Punjab

According to police and rescue officials, the incident took place near Bela in Rahim Yar Khan district where a truck collided with a passenger bus coming from opposite side, resulting in collision of two more busses.

At least ten people were killed and over a dozen others were wounded. They were shifted to nearby hospitals.

Officials said the mishap happened apparently due to poor visibility caused by dense fog that has enveloped plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, affecting traffic and flight operations.
