Hello everyone :) 
Here i'm, once again, to write my 2nd blog. My first experience of posting a blog was quite fine. But i could get only two stars. Even it was not that bad for a new starter. Actually it was also because of my poor presentation as i didn't know how to use writing tools in blog editor. But thanx to dear bro @Lagharyy as he personally assisted me about some issues. Now i'm hopeful for good ratings of my current blog.

Today I have chosen the topic of "Terrorism" for my second blog, as all world is suffering from this deadly evil. Nowhere is safe from this miserable situation. It is one of the top burning issues around the globe. I want to enlighten the public opinion about this evil. I'll try to discuss every possible detail about this chaos. So, let's come to the topic...

Terrorism has become one of the most dangerous forms of international crime. Terrorism means the use of force or aggression against a person, groups or governments.The aim of such a destructive activity is to create fear and alarm in the masses. Terrorists resort to bombing, killing and large scale destruction of public and government property.

Though terrorism has no accepted definition, yet it can be defined as the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aim or the calculated use of violence or threat of violence against civilians or government in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature. Terrorists achieve their criminal goals by intimidation or coercion or inciting fear.The term terrorism is also misunderstood among the masses of world on large scale. If we really want to know that what terrorism actually is, we must have to understand the true meaning of terrorism. Now we shall discuss some history of this evil which is more common around the globe, now a days. Terrorism is not a modern activity. It has been going on in the world for a very long time. In the past the societies were not organized. However in the old world, the robbers and dacoits waylaid people during their journey and robbed them of their belongings and deprived the weak, even of their life. But now the terrorist activity has changed. It has become more like an organized activity.

In modern age, terrorist groups have emerged which train people for destructive activities. Now a days, the terrorist organizations are financially helped and aided by secret services of different governments. The hostile neighbors train the terrorists and send them for destructive activities across the borders. They create dread and alarm in the people and try to destabilize the government.

A regular terrorist organization usually works against the government. It's main object is to create disorder and anarchy in the country. The forces of law and order are weakened. The government cannot pay proper attention to build the nation and look after the welfare of it's people. Most of their attention is diverted to curb the terrorists.Now a days , terrorists use modern destructive weapons to destroy the buildings, offices and public places like railway stations and airports. They plant bombs and cause a great loss of public property and life.

It's an alarming situation for the whole world because in the coming years the nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons may be used by the terrorist organizations. In this age of advanced technology, poisonous gases, injections, and destructive viruses, which are now under the control of government, can find their way to the terrorist groups in near future. Several nations are believed to be developing computer viruses to disrupt military command and control system.

Now we will discuss some of the root causes of "Terrorism". Terrorist acts are committed for various reasons. Narrow mindedness, fanaticism, intolerance and religious extremism are considered the main causes of terrorism. The love of "power" also tempts people for such inhumane activities. Terrorist acts are committed for various reasons. Some terrorists groups support a particular political philosophy. Other terrorist organizations fight against the governments to get liberation on ethnic basis. Dictators use violence to frighten or eliminate their opponents. In the world, most of the people are not aware of the facts about global terrorism. They relate all such kind of destructive and cruel activities with some specific nations and religions. In the west, "Islam" is most blamed religion for the evil of terrorism. Western media is mainly responsible for this organized propaganda against Islam, which is further backed by the governments.

Islam is most misunderstood and misinterpreted religion in the wast. A religion that stands for peace: and justice has been misrepresented as a religion of war and fanaticism. The Muslims are depicted by the western media as extremists, fanatics, backward, terrorists and devoid of disciplines. By western media, they are framed as emotional and intolerant on religious issues.

On the other hand there is no organized Muslim media anywhere in the world that can refute this western disinformation and give an accurate picture of what is really going on. The west, in fact, is under the psychological pressure of the glorious past of the Muslims. Soon after the demise of communism in Soviet Union, Islam was perceived as the only ideological force to overcome the whole world.

The Muslim concept of Islamic fundamentalism is the strict adherence to the age of the Holly Prophet (PBUH). It is an effort to implement the Islamic principles of the Golden age in the world of today, for the revival of Islam. The Islamic term of Jihad is also really misinterpreted term by western media. Jihad is totally different from acts of terrorism. Jihad means exertion, striving and endeavor for the cause of God. It's object is to bring an end to oppression and aggression against Islam. It is not anti-west bigotry and the revival of the ancient Islamic concept of expansionism.

"Religion is nothing else but love to God and man."

Jihad stands for performing noble deeds for elevating moral character and for seeking refinement to attain nearness to Allah.The Quran has emphasized jihad for noble cause. To justify my statement, I would like to present some verses of Quran on the with respect to Jihad.

• “You shall not kill any person * for GOD has made life sacred — except in the course of justice.” (Quran17:33)

There also lies a fact that the term of terrorism is different from political or liberation movement. For example the Kashmir liberation movement against India, the Palestine liberation movement against Israel and Chechen liberation movement against Russia cannot be regarded as the terrorist movements. They are engaged in an armed struggle to get freedom from the cruel rules.

As I belong to Pakistan, so i'll also discuss the conditions of my homeland. Pakistan is also a great victim of terrorism. It has been suffering from foreign funded and supported terrorism for last many years. In Pakistan, the terrorist activities go on in a planned and organized manner. The reasons for their activities are quite obvious. Some of them are depicted below:

• In Pakistan various terrorist organizations are backed and aided by foreign countries to spark up clashes on religious differences.
• Anti-Pakistan secret services like RAW and MOSSAD support and execute terrorist activities out of sheer enmity, as they didn't want to see the stable and prosperous Pakistan.
• The terrorist activities are committed in certain parts of Pakistan on the basis of linguistic and ethnic differences.
• India has always tried to destabilize the political and economic stability of Pakistan. Its secret service RAW works in co-ordination with the Israel secret service MOSSAD and disrupts the normal life of the country by blasting bombs at different public places.

Because of terrorism, Pakistan suffered a lot in last years. But now situation is much better than before. Now everything is under control. Pakistan has done its level best to get rid of terrorism and terrorists from its soil and gave many sacrifices in war against terrorism. Pakistan armed forces performed successful military operations, such as, Rah-e-Nijat, Rah-e-Rast, Zarb-e-Azb and Rad-ul-fissad, to curb the evil of terrorism.

To conclude we can say that terrorism is a deadly evil. we must combat terrorism at all levels such as administrative, ideological and public. We must have to avoid fanaticism and extremism to get rid of this evil. We can get rid of this evil by creating awareness in the masses.
