Hi guys!

Just a quick update with new developments on our new short film, ‘Fly in a box’ (Working tittle)

Below is a short clip that Chris has put together showing a composite of a 2D fly in a live action shot.

 

 

As you can see... not a bad start for a quick test.  Alongside perfecting this 2D composite Chris will also be working on a 3D fly for when we want to punch in for a close up. This is going to take a bit more time to get right being in 3D, so a lot more work to be done. 

Meanwhile, I will be working on a rough test shoot so Chris can composite the fly into the phone box to see how it will look and if it will work!! Adding visual effects can sometimes cause problems, depending on how and what you shoot, so we want to make sure everything we shoot is useable for Chris to work with. Lots of tests to come yet!
