Tests reveal Maggi to contain dangerous levels of lead.

The Food Safety and Drug Administration in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India alleges that high lead content was found during routine tests on two dozen packets of instant noodles which are manufactured by Nestle in India.  The state government of Uttar Pradesh has recalled a particular batch of Maggi noodles on this ground of high lead content. However, the company does not agree with this finding and is filing the requisite representations with the authorities
