The Bombay High Court on Thursday acquitted Bollywood actor Salman Khan of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case in which some footpath dwellers were killed while some others were severely injured making them physically challenged. Earlier the lower court had convicted the Bollywood actor for 5 years for which he had moved the Bombay High Court and was on bail. The Bombay High Court observed that the Bollywood actor cannot be convicted on the basis of the evidence produced in the hit-and-run case. The verdict of the Bombay High Court came as a relief for the actor. But the victims or their families are not happy.
