The 21 st February, the language martyr day of the Bangladeshis has been internationally recognized

in the year 2003 , when UNESCO declared the 21 February as International Mother Tongue Day. On the day

the young and old rise up early in the morning and proceed towards the Shahid mianar with floral wreaths to show

honour to the language martyrs.
