I came from a poor family. I have 6 siblings, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I'm the fourth child, a kid on the block. Since I was a child I never had a birthday party as well as my siblings. Birthday is just an ordinary day for us.

Raising a big family is really hard and I don't blame our parents for that. As a matter of fact I thank them for raising us and became a good citizen. Even if they didn't give us a wealthy life they tried their best to give us our basic needs. 

Since I didn't experience birthday party, I don't want my kids to have that experience. As much as I  could I wanted them to celebrate their birthday even if it's just a simple party.

To those who are celebrating their birthday today, with or without party be thankful for God has given you another year of your precious life.
