Saturday June 11th Tommaso and I will start our Chinese Film Adventure. At 11 am we will be taking off from NJ on Continental towards Shanghai, to attend the Shanghai Film Festival. Our goal is to establish relationships with Agents and Actors who are interested to shoot films in the USA and in particular in NYC. Our focus is on Soap-Opera and TV series actors who talk in Mandarin and have strong following in Mainland China, but not necessarily known in the USA and Europe. The intention is to scout a few names, define some collaboration parameters and shoot films in their native language in New York City. Films for Theatrical, TV and Web distribution. Abel Ferrara is involved in this project both as a producer and director. I hope to sleep for the 16 hours of the flight, lets see. ciao
