It all started back in 2005 when the first movie of the dark knight trilogy was released and that movie was called "Batman Begins", when this movie came out I went to see it as soon as I could being a huge Batman fan and reading all of his comic books. I really hoped and wanted it to be something different than its predecessors who were terrible interpretations of batman and here off course I am mainly speaking about "Batman & Robin" which was an abomination, I went to the cinema and I was blown away by Chris Nolan's vision of Batman and his world, he really grounded the character and made it so realistic and believable and paid attention to detail beyond anything. He also explored the life of Bruce Wayne since he was young and how he got his training and everything, to me this was a very very positive start to a new era for Batman movies.
Then when I thought that it couldn't get any better than "Batman Begins" Chris Nolan released in 2008 the movie that would change comic book movies forever and set the bar really high for future interpretations of any comic book movie let alone Batman "The Dark Knight". The movie was extremely well written and with amazing performances from the cast off course especially from the late "Heath Ledger" who played "The Joker" in a way that has never been seen before and I think will never be seen again as an agent of chaos, this performance earned Heath and oscar for best actor. This movie had everything in it and it made not only Batman fans happy but also it made people look at comic book movies in a very different way as it made a lot of people who are not fans of comic book movies or Batman watch the movie and respect it.
Years passed and it was not known if Chris was going to do a third and final chapter to his epic Batman Saga, but in the end in 2012 he released "The Dark Knight Rises", this movie had such high expectations after "The Dark Knight" and it was one of the most anticipated movies in history and when it came it it delivered, "The Dark Knight Rises" is a very powerful movie in my opinion and the introduction of the character "Bane" was right on the money to finish the story of Batman and it all came together beautifully. Now in my opinion "The Dark Knight" is bit stronger than "The Dark Knight Rises" but still this trilogy in my opinion might be the best comic book trilogy ever and it will be very hard to top what this movies did.
