The Dead Sea is actually a salt water lake between Israel and Jordan. It is famous for its very unusual features. It is 400 meters below sea level, and the water is so salty the no living thing except for some rare kind of germs, can live there. It is one of the world saltiest waters. The high proportion of salt and other minerals in the water make it so thick and dense that the human can easily float on its surface. So no one cannot easily drown in this salt water sea, which is called Dead Sea.
