What is A Dream Car:
In this blog the dream car does not refer to the car which a person wants to buy. Rather the dream car refers to the car which a normal can only dream to buy. Dream to buy and decide to buy are two different thing. All the cars given below are my dream cars:
1. Bugatti Veyron:
Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a two door mid-engined super car having an amazing speed of 430.9 km/h which is approximately 268 mph. This amazing master piece is the result of a great design which was designed by Joseph Kaban. Joseph Kaban works for the Bugatti Automobiles and hence he is the father of such a dashing and amazing super car! Because of its incredible speed, it is given the name of "Car of the Decade".
Guiness World Records have recognized the Super Sport Version of Veyron as the fastest street-legal production car in the World.Veyron Grand Sport Vietesse version is also the World's fastest Roadster having a top speed of 408.84 km/h. Molheim, Alsace and France feel proud to be the assemblers of this amazing super car.
History and Origin:
The Veyron EB 16.4 which is the name of the car, has also some interesting facts about the car. Pierree Veyron who was a Bugatti devlopment engineer. He won the 24 hours Le Mans 1939 while driving a Bugatti and hence the car was named Veyron the honour of Pierree Veyron. "EB" stands for Ettore Bugatti who was the founder of Bugatti and 16.4 refers to its engine which consists of 16 cylinders and 4 turbochargers.
Before 1998, the brand of Bugatti was facing some difficulties and that's why the Volkswagen Group purchased the trademark of it. Their first car was Buggatti EB 118 which was consisted of four 18-cylinders. In the begining the professionals gave the first concept of the car but it was consisted of 3 bank W18 engine and was named Bugatti Veyron EB 18.4. While the current version has 2-bank W16 engine.
2. Zenvo ST1:
Zenvo ST1 is a double door high performance super car with an incredible top speed of 375 km/h. Moreover, it gains a speed of 100 km/h from 0 in just 3 seconds which makes it a dream car for me! Its V8 engine gives it such a great speed which produces a horse power of about 1101 hp. Zealand and Denmark shares the responsibility of the assembling of such a great car.
The design of the Zenvo ST1 , manufactured by the Danish company in Zenvo, entirely belongs to Denmark and is a Danish Design which is the result of the hardwork of Christian Brandt and Jesper who are known as the father of the Zenvo ST1. The carbon fibre body of the car is made in Germany while other components such as gas tank, guages, ABS brakes, airbags and traction control are impoted from USA in order to assemble the car. The cost of this dream car (Zenvo ST1) is about 16 million DDK and hence it is not affordable by all.
3. Lamborghini Huracan:
My another dream car is the Lamborghini Huracan which is a double door amazing super and sports car which uses a powerful engine of 5.2 litre V10. Automobili Lamborghini is the manufacturing company of this car. The incredible car was designed by the Flippo Perini. In 2014 Geneva Auto Show, the Huracan made its auto show debut.
Name and Price:
The word Huracan actually does not have a certain meaning. There was a Spanish bull naming Huracan who was known for it's courage. Huracan's model is quite similar to that bull and that's how the car was given the name of Huracan. The amazing car also has an amazing price which is about three hundred thousand US Dollars. The price is so high because the company has used extra advenced technology in some of aspects of Hurracan.
4. Porsche 918 Spyder:
Porsche 918 Spyder is mid-engined sports car designed by Porsche. 4.6 litre V8 engine powers this fancy super car generating a total of about 887 horse power giving the Spyder a top speed of about 340 km/h.
As it is a dream car, the company decided to produce limited additions of the car and till 2014 about 918 cars have been manufactured and sold. In the begining the starting price was about eight hundred and fifty thousand US dollars. The Porsche 918 Spyder was a result of Michael Mauer's work who is the designer of the car. Moreover, its speed can be increased to 100 km/h from 0 km/hr and from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 and 7.2 seconds respectively. The 918 Spyder fulfills all the requirements for a person to consider it as his dream car and therefore, everyone who can afford a super car prefers the Porsche 918 Spyder.
5. Lamborghini Venevo:
Lamborghini Venevo is a double door super car which was built on the occasion when the Automobili Lamborghini was celebrating its Silver Jubilee. The price of the car was set at about 4.5 million US dollars making it the world's most expensive car. The car uses an engine of 6.5L V12 which produces a power of about 750 PS. Being the most expensive car in the world only 5 unit are assembled till now and among those five units two were built for the company itself and the other three were built for the customers. These three cars cost about 3.12 Million euros for each car. All of them have been sold.This car is really for the richies and a normal person like me and you can just dream of having such a car as Lamborghini Venevoand that's why it has been in my list of dream cars.
