A report claims that the website of the IRCTC-the ticket-booking website of Indian Railways has been hacked and with it, personal data of around 1 crore customers is feared to have been stolen from the server of the e-ticketing portal. It is alleged that personal details including phone numbers, date of birth and other such details of its customers are being sold in a CD for Rs 15,000. However, the IRCTC officials have denied the reports. Meanwhile, the Indian Railway Board is looking into the matter and is expected to take required action.
