life is not so fair !. as a medical student i see alot of lives being cured and a lot giving up, but today was something no one would ever forget......a sad reality of our world and a sad truth of humans making mistakes. 

in the children's ward i see a 10 day old girl with her stomach full of bandages and her hands full of drips. she was born with her intestines outside her body and went under a serious operation on the first day of her life. Going through this time every one of us want our family to be with us for support and care. what do i see, there is no one beside her , no mother beside , no dad or any family :-/ she lays there fighting for her life all by herself. on asking the history i couldn't stop tears coming out of my eyes.......

 

she is a daughter of a 14 year old girl who doesn't even know that she was pregnant. and ofcourse was unaware of her responsibilities as a mother of a living being. what can we call it an innocent mistake, unawareness of the parents or our very beloved freedom is to be blamed ??? what is the mistake of this little baby girl who hasn't even learned to open her eyes and is put to fight for her life without a support. As ofcourse her mother is a child herself, her grandparents don't want to own her at all, and her father might not even know about her existence.
she was born as a mistake and will never know her real parents, if she survives she might grow up in fosters......will always have a guilt in her heart of being unwanted. 

do we still call the societies whose parents are super cautious about their children "backwards" .....THINK AGAIN ! kids will always be kids, but some mistakes can never be undone.
