The jilting of Granny Weatherall

Upon reading the “the jilting of Granny Weatherall” story, and considering the character of Cornelia, I really felt happy and joyous that is why; I found Cornelia how responsible she was for her mother so I do call her a great, kind daughter for her mother for paying attention to her, so although it is difficult to take caring an old woman but I discovered she did her responsibility very well and most of time she called the doctor to come and see her mother.

Besides, she was a formidable and patient daughter for her mother that could manage everything very well.

More importantly, a character like Cornelia through the story gives us the lesson of how to be responsible for our parents, therefore; if we consider deeply we will notice that once we (as children) were so weak and feeble so in fact those were our parents that taught us how to talk, and walk therefore, it is our time now, when they get older and older we must take care them cautiously.

But sometimes we consider some people who are so heedless and careless toward their parents, and they don’t pay attention for them Once I met a 27 year old boy who had an aged mother and lived in the city, but he was very careless and cruel toward her mother In fact she was in a situation that needed her son very much but her coward boy left her forever, so it shows how tyrant he was.

In short, I can say Cornelia was a very cautious girl for her old, sick mother and did her best for treating and curing her mother.
