Mindanao in Philippines is surrounded with with mountain ranges, hills, and plateaus.  Behind those mountains, you may never know that it has different water forms that make the places in Mindanao beautiful. 

    In the plateau of Bukidnon, particularly in Baranggay Guinoyoran, Valencia City, Bukidnon, laid a beautiful lake called Lake Apo.

   

    In the center of those ranges of mountain you will see the beautifully carve Lake Apo not by the humankind but by our best Engineer, our Creator.  It is one of the cleanest body of water found in Northern Mindanao.

    The beautiful lake laid a dark legend.  "Apo" which means ancestor or grandparent was said had raped his beautiful granddaughter.  Due to his disrespectful action to his granddaughter, he was punished by the gods of the mountain flooding him and brought him in the middle of the mountain ranges forming a lake.

    The above picture and the pictures followed was taken this year 2015 when the Northern Mindanao Missionary Baptist Youth were in their summer fellowship.
