One evening in October 2007, Francesco Rulli, the president and founder of Film Annex, watched the CBS show '60 Minutes,' where he saw The Man from INTERPOL for the first time. Always interested in contemporary and international issues, Rulli realized that everyone, especially young people, should get to know more about INTERPOL's (www.interpol.int) role and activities in different societies. Film Annex's community of filmmakers, bloggers, digital natives, and power users could be a perfect starting point for spreading the word.

In the spring of 2009, Film Annex created a Web Television with the domain name www.007WebTV.com. This Web TV was the first step to introduce the world of investigation and the fight against crime to the Film Annex audience.
