I would recommend the classic film the "Man Who Knew Too Much" to history students. The idea of the film centers around a kidnapping, the love of parents, and dealing with terrorism. It's weird how this movie holds up to today in which people think they know too much.

With access to the internet we see people who think a Wikipedia article gets them up to speed on any topic. In this film Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day have to hit the streets, ask tough questions, and get out of their comfort zone.
