Movie Description
The 1977 Walt Disney Productions animated film, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is an adaptation of the classic A.A. Milne children's book series. The Pooh "brand" has subsequently become an industry itself, producing a series of sequels, cartoons, books, toys, clothing and other Winnie the Pooh-related product, as well as three amusement attractions at various Disneyworld/Land facilities.
Voices for the various characters were provided by a vast array of talented performers, including Sterling Holloway, John Fiedler, Howard Morris, Paul Winchell and Ralph Wright. The film was narrated by Sebastian Cabot.
The innocent charm and wholesomeness of Milne's stories are captured brilliantly, and the animation is flawless. The musical score is by Buddy Baker and the Sherman brothers, Richard and Robert, who've contributed many memorable tunes in classics such as Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a guaranteed winner with audiences of all ages.
