The Ex Minister of Legislation, of the government of Punjab, Rana Sana-ullah who became a controversial figure after  the incident of model town, Lahore. He said that North Waziristan Operation should have happened ten years earlier. One may not agree with the statements Rana Sana-ullah usually gives but one may agree with this statement. A decade earlier, if a disciplined and proper military operation against the terrorists in Waziristan would have started then Pakistan and its nation of 20 crore peoples would be safe and secure from the terrorism that it is facing today. Almost a half decade ago there was a lot of pressure on Pakistan from American government that Pakistan Army should start a military operation in Waziristan. The demand was pretty right but if Pakistan had started that military operation then it would be said that Pakistan Armed forces did it under the pressure of American government. Probably it was the reason that Pakistan decided not to start a military operation in Waziristan that time but,NOW. Now that military operation in Waziristan against terrorists has started with full force and preparation, the outcomes of this operation have been proven positive and fruitful. The most amazing thing is that the Prime Minister and Chief of Army staff, both, are on the same page about this situation. It has been a month since this operation started, in which our security forces have achieved the goals they have aimed. According to the statements of ISPR, 85 % of Northern Waziristan have been cleared and freed from the terrorists and other foreign  entities. More than 400 Pakistani and other foreign militants have been killed and the industries that produced weaponry for them and a lot of weapons have been confiscated by the security forces.Pakistan's security forces also suffered some casualties. According to sources, 23 Army men have been martyred during this operation. This loss is way less than the loss that terrorists have suffered by the hands of our security forces. On average, at least 15 terrorists are being killed on daily basis. Now, the terrorists are on run and trying to get refuge in some provinces of Afghanistan.
