The 20th Century Fox's The Maze Runner took no 1 spot of the American box office this weekend. It has grossed 32.5 million dollars in 3,064 locations. The Maze Runner is a sci-fi action thriller film based on best selling novel by James Dashner about the group of people trying to escape from a mysterious maze. Starring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki-hong Lee and Will Poulter.
FOX announced the sequel Maze Runner: Scorch Trials will open in theaters Sept. 18, 2015.
